Fega was the kind of leader who made a lasting impact. She created an environment where people felt very supported and motivated to do their best. She listened to everything we had to say, and was always involved. During the time I worked with her, I grew in my role and gained confidence in myself. What stood out to me was the way she showed up for us with consistency and care, making it easy to trust her guidance and follow her lead. I’m grateful for the opportunity to have worked with her, and I know anyone who does will quickly see the difference she brings.

Fega was my hiring administrative nurse manager at _____. She met me as a new nurse, full of potential to be an impactful member of the team on our unit. She encouraged me to be engaged through Professional Governance as a unit based council chairperson, a role I still currently serve today. She saw something in me that I did not initially see in myself, at first. With guidance, patience, and encouragement, she planted the seeds of leadership in me. And now, with some sunshine and rain, growth still continues. I appreciate her and her impact in my professional roles very much. Her foresight, years ago, is yet still a reality today. Although she has relocated, she continues to be a mentor to me as I advance my education and skill set. I appreciate her mentorship and encouragement on my journey . I hope to one day mentor other nurses, as Fega has mentored me in my career.
