Fega was my hiring administrative nurse manager at _____. She met me as a new nurse, full of potential to be an impactful member of the team on our unit. She encouraged me to be engaged through Professional Governance as a unit based council chairperson, a role I still currently serve today. She saw something in me that I did not initially see in myself, at first. With guidance, patience, and encouragement, she planted the seeds of leadership in me. And now, with some sunshine and rain, growth still continues. I appreciate her and her impact in my professional roles very much. Her foresight, years ago, is yet still a reality today.
