What is the AOLA Mentorship Program?

The AOLA Mentorship Program is a structured, nurse-led, fee-for-service pathway designed to take internationally educated nurses from “interested” to U.S. license-ready.

We combine personalized coaching with practical tools and group learning to guide you through every critical step.

Who it’s for

  • Nurses who have not yet passed NCLEX or IELTS/OET
  • Nurses who need help with CGFNS, BON selection, and licensure steps
  • Nurses who want clear timelines, accountability, and expert guidance

What you get

  • CGFNS & document support: profile creation, requirements, and submission guidance
  • Exam applications: NCLEX and IELTS/OET registration steps, timelines, and prep strategy
  • Licensure navigation: choosing a state BON, completing applications, understanding variations (SSN, hours, English)
  • Career coaching: résumé polish, interview prep, and job-application mentorship
  • Learning community: monthly group webinars + Q&A, templates, and checklists
  • 1:1 mentorship: scheduled sessions with U.S. RNs and responsive support during business hours

  2. Receive your onboarding plan with clear tasks and timelines
  3. Attend 1:1 sessions and group webinars while we guide each step
  4. Become license-ready and apply independently—or explore AOLA direct-hire options

Your mentorship is independent of employment. When you’re ready, you can apply on your own or request AOLA placement support—it’s up to you.
